S4 – Andarine steroid

S-4, also known as Andarine, is a SARM being studied for muscle wasting and osteoporosis. It is not approved as a drug and is banned in competitive sports. 

Possible effects

• slight increase in strength 

• less water retention than some steroids 

• possible positive effect on bone density 

It acts selectively on androgen receptors in muscles and bones, but even selectivity does not mean safe use.

The goal is to burn fat while preserving muscle, better definition, a slight increase in strength, and lower body fat. 

Risks 

• suppression of one’s own testosterone 

• typical vision disorders – yellowish tint and poor adaptation to darkness 

• changes in libido 

• mood swings 

• fatigue 

• lipid deterioration 

• possible cardiovascular strain 

Visual disturbances are among the characteristic manifestations of S-4 and may be dose-dependent. Long-term data in humans are lacking.

The intention is to combine the strong anabolic effect of steroids with the promotion of definition and hardness. The risks are greater hormonal suppression, worse lipids, cardiovascular problems, and long-term hormonal dysregulation.
