Drostanolone/Masteron is a well-known steroid associated with building “dry” muscle mass. The original text mentions combinations with Sustanon, other testosterone preparations, and stanozolol, which are expected to produce significant gains in strength and muscle. 

What is Drostanolone Enanthate? 

Drostanolone enanthate is an injectable anabolic-androgenic steroid. It is derived from DHT and contains the longer-acting enanthate ester. It is structurally related to drostanolone propionate, known as Masteron. The enanthate ester causes a slower release of the active ingredient than the propionate form. 

Reported anabolic effects 

In bodybuilding, drostanolone enanthate is most often associated with the following effects: 

• mild anabolic effect, 

• better muscle hardness and definition, 

• almost no aromatization to estrogen, 

• low water retention, 

• quite pronounced androgenic properties. 

It is often mentioned in the drawing or competition stages because it usually does not create a distinctly “watered down” appearance. 

Combinations (“stacks”) – general 

Drostanolone enanthate is rarely prescribed alone. Common, not recommended combinations include: 

• testosterone as a base, 

• other non-aromatizing or “drying” steroids in cutting phases, 

• multiple injectable AAS during competition preparation. 

However, such combinations increase the risk of: 

• cardiovascular diseases, 

• negative changes in blood lipids (HDL down, LDL up), 

• strong suppression of the body’s own testosterone production, 

• side effects caused by androgens.
